Beydan Group of Companies (BGC) was established in 1980 by Mr. Ahmed Mohamud Mohamed, with a vision to connect global markets and build a trusted name in international trade, and development. From its early beginnings, BGC has worked tirelessly to expand its presence in the global market. Over time, Beydan Group of Companies (BGC) has expanded its product portfolio to include pharmaceuticals, foodstuffs, textiles, general items, building and engineering products. Each year, BGC continues to diversify its offerings, adding new product lines to meet the evolving needs of its customers.

Today, BGC stands as one of the largest trading companies in East Africa, with outlets in multiple countries including the UAE, Somalia, China, Ghana, Djibouti, Tanzania, and Kenya, along with agents across East Africa and the GCC region.

In addition to importing essential products into Africa, BGC also plays a vital role in exporting agricultural products such as sesame seeds from Africa to Asian markets.
